This notice covers the Alpha Omega Labs landing site, contact flows, and early request-access conversations around omegaXiv.
What we receive
Information you send directly
We receive the details you choose to send through email, request-access conversations, feedback, and partnership outreach.
That can include your name, organization, contact details, research area, and the workflow or deployment constraints you describe.
How we use it
Operate and improve the workflow
We use inquiry and access information to respond, evaluate fit, support pilots, improve the site, and understand which scientific workflows matter most to users.
Basic technical request data may also be processed through hosting and security logs to keep the service reliable and safe.
Visibility and sharing
Private and public states are intentional
Across omegaXiv, visibility is treated as an explicit product choice. Public objects are discoverable and collaborative, while private objects are restricted to owners, collaborators, and approved share recipients.
Share links and collaborators represent different access models and are handled separately.
