A lab that publishes its uncertainty
Alpha Omega Labs builds governed infrastructure for autonomous systems, and research tooling for the work that infrastructure is meant to carry. We operate from Europe, and the compliance posture is the point rather than an afterthought.
Built for what research teams need at the end of every cycle.
After a close personal experience with type 1 diabetes, we saw that many life-changing discoveries are delayed by fragmented workflows—not by lack of ideas. This platform uses AI to make rigorous research faster, reusable, and easier to validate across life science and beyond.
We started this because researchers should not lose momentum after a good idea. Knowledge gets trapped in documents, models, and local notes. We want every result to remain connected to evidence and be reusable the next day.
This platform is intentionally shaped around three constraints: keep context, keep reviewability, and keep execution practical. If a result cannot be checked, explained, and reused, it is not ready to influence the next stage of science.
- Close the gap between discovery and deployment in one continuous workflow.
- Preserve lineage so every claim can be traced and challenged.
- Scale collaboration between people, models, and reusable research artifacts.
Research should be faster than bureaucracy, but never at the cost of rigor.
How the work runs
Three properties that hold across everything in the portfolio, from the shipping product to the research prototypes.
Governed by construction
Capability and authority are declared separately from the agent that uses them, so autonomy is bounded by something a person drew rather than by the model’s judgement.
Reproducible or it did not happen
A result carries the run that produced it — the code, the artifacts, the assumptions, and the ability to execute it again. Lineage is retained so each pass improves the next.
Calibrated in public
Every claim ships with its method and its error bar. Where there is no method, the entry says so in the same typography as the ones that have one.
People
Roles and links. Portraits are deliberately absent for now — see the note below.
The roster is being confirmed with each person before it is published. Portraits follow once it is.
The network around the lab
Research collaborators and institutions the lab works with or through.
- AI Austria
- EAIF
- Bilateral AI
- ASAI
- OEAW

- NYU
Listed as collaborations, not endorsements. Marks are shown only where each institution has confirmed.
Working here
There are no open listings right now. The lab hires across data, applied ML, and platform systems when it hires, and reads a good note from someone who has read the work.
